New Blood Festival brings together emerging talent and industry professionals for a double whammy of Fringe events and a free exhibition at The Old Truman Brewery in the heart of East London. In short, it’s all about getting everyone excited and inspired by the future of commercial creativity.
The exhibition sees university courses from around the UK showing off their very best students’ work from the past year. It gives industry professionals the chance to meet new talent and young creatives the opportunity to network and skill up.
The event is brought to you by D&AD, a non-profit advertising and design association celebrating design and advertising. The community promotes excellence in creative communications. The Yellow & Black Pencils are awarded to outstanding creativity and mold-breaking thinking. The D&AD Professional Awards are recognized globally, entered and attended by the best from around the world.
But it’s much more than just awards. Members join a vibrant global community, whilst creatives and clients are inspired by a world-class Training programme. As a non-profit advertising and design association, all D&AD’s surpluses go straight into programmes such as New Blood, inspiring the next generation of creative talent and stimulating the creative industry to work towards a fairer more sustainable future.
