For more than 50 years, Marshall has been listening to those that no one would listen to. The rebels. But the brand set out to make their voices heard. Throughout its history, Marshall has been celebrated by some of the world’s greatest musicians such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Slash, Oasis, Muse, Gorillaz, and many others. With humble beginnings, the company got a reputation as the place to be for young rock musicians.

“Listening matters,” says the brand in the “Never Stop Listening” campaign starring the “Godfather of Punk,” Iggy Pop. The American singer and Marshall share a history: The brand has literally been behind Iggy since the beginning and the singer has always embraced the loud spirit of Marshall, which is why the artist is a perfect fit for this campaign.

“Iggy is one of the few artists who has continued throughout the years to be nothing but original, rebellious, and loud — in every sense of the word,” said A.M. Sekora, Creative Director.

So, “tune out the boring” and “get into the car” because you’ll be the passenger who will ride through Iggy’s monologue about the importance of listening. We’ll see that listening “brings us together and makes us feel like we belong. It’s a choice. It’s a freedom,” says Iggy in a one-minute-long video made to promote Marshall’s message. The short film ends with the artist empowering us to find our voice and embrace it by making it heard “because change is loud.”

The campaign aims to explore the importance of listening in all of its forms, underlining how this simple act can help one discover how important their voices and of others can be. “So, listen carefully. Listen to the ones that paved the way, and the ones who are still making their mark. And listen to yourself. Only after you’ve listened can you really know how powerful your own voice can be. We know that together our voices can create massive change. And change is loud.”

The new campaign promotes three products in the Marshall line-up: Monitor II A.N.C, Major IV, and Mode II. The latter is the brand’s first-ever in-ear wireless earbuds, designed to deliver a thunderous audio experience. Plus, rock music fans will probably enjoy the sound provided by the buds, as they are “perfectly tuned to project the rhythm of rock.”
