There’s nothing great in having an upset stomach. Symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or cramps (among others) simply ruin your day and, sometimes, they can be the reason for canceling your holiday. A bellyache keeps you trapped inside the house and near the toilet and prevents you from eating the food you would usually enjoy. Indeed, an upset stomach is no fun at all. But it is not only humans who feel these symptoms to be a pain in the neck; animals experience digestive issues as well and, just like in our case, they need to be taken care of.

Few things are worse than a tummy ache. A dog having to experience such symptoms is definitely no pleasant sight for anyone, particularly for pet parents, who owe much of their happiness to their pets. Cats and dogs take care of us and our mental state so it’s only natural to pay them back for their kindness. And one way we can do this is to make sure that their well-being is and will always be one of our top priorities.

When your pet is struggling with a digestive issue, probiotics can be helpful. While canine supplements might ease your pet’s stomach pain, it is crucial to contact your vet before you give any medicine to your dog. Meanwhile, we bet that you will try anything else to make your pet feel more comfortable throughout this time. One thing you can try to cheer yourself and your dog’s upset tummy up is to spend some precious time together. And while you comfort your pet, how about you “read” an adorable story about dogs’ digestive system?

Consisting of a team of passionate animal lovers who work on helping dogs have a happy and healthy life, the Vitasure brand provides nutritional dog supplements that “are made with unconditional love, for the unconditionally loved.” Agu Wu, a Bielsko-Biała-based graphic designer, was part of this team of animal lovers as well, only the artist’s task was to visually speak about the dogs’ digestive tract in a fun way.

“The main challenge of Vitasure Multibiotics branding and packaging was to show dogs’ digestive system and proper poop using a combination of fun illustrations and professional medical look in one label,” explains Wu.

Embracing a minimalist design style, the graphic designer’s work for Vitasure is proof that “less is more.” Simple in terms of aesthetics and color palette, the drawings highlight what happens inside a dog’s upset tummy, how these symptoms make a pet feel, and what benefits the probiotics have. For example, the shape of a cloud represents bloating while a curly line suggests the stool problems that can affect a dog.

Wu’s doodles are also accompanied by a tiny detail, guaranteed to put a smile on a person’s face — be they pet owners or not — making it easier for people to understand dog gut health and digestibility. The results are so delightful that will surely impress any pet parents. We think the illustrations would even make dogs engage in endless conversations about Vitasure’s products and Wu’s work as well — that if only animals could talk.
